I do many things, including a variety of academic, educational, and game-design work, but every once in a while you’ve just got to physically make something, you know? For me, crafting these pieces of art + engineering + theatrics is a great outlet for when I’m in that need-to-make-something mood, and it brings me joy to see the delight in people’s eyes when they get to see one of their visions come to life in a way that’s so bright and vivid and safe to hit their friends with.

I originally made props for LARP leagues as a kid when my friends and I went and played in them, which was a great creative environment, and then didn’t do any of this for many years while off at college and working elsewhere. In 2023 I got back into it when I reconnected with my childhood friend who now runs a league in the bay area, and decided to figure out if my years of game design work would be useful for creating new ideas for props.

Turns out it is useful, so now I’ve put together a website for people to see the things I make! And now you’re here, and now (well, in the past) I’m typing this sentence. I hope you enjoy your journey around its eccentric contents and that it brings a bit of delight to your day. If you’ve got more questions or ideas about what I should put in this “about” page, or if you have an idea for a boffer, let me know.
